Antioxidant is a class of stabilizer that is often added in PVC manufacturing as a chain stopper to end the reaction in the last process of polymerization. Such antioxidants carry the additional benefit of preventing discoloration of the PVC during the drying process. Fire Retardants include variety of substances which are added to combustible materials in order to prevent fires from initiating or to slow the spread of fire, also provide additional escape time.
